14 special events across the country until the end of May - focus on ground-breaking organisation solutions - workshops for customers and prospectsSHD starting 2006 programme of eventsANDERNACH, 15 Feb. 2006 – Today sees the first and completely booked-out ECORO workshop in Göttingen, and with it the start of the wide-ranging programme of special events and forums organised by the Andernach-based SHD group for the furniture retail trade. This series of workshops will be continuing until the end of May in other major locations such as Munich, Andernach and Leonberg. The workshops are designed to address the specific needs of those using the furniture trade system MHS, and to give them ample opportunity to exhaustively test and find out about the organisation solution ECORO over the two days. On 16 March there is a decision-makers' day at the furniture store 'Möbel Weirauch' in Oldenburg, which already uses ECORO. Owners, managers and those in charge of IT will be able to obtain first-hand information on all the successes achieved with the new generation of merchandise information systems engineered by SHD. A tour of the furniture superstore in Oldenburg is also included.
The MHS forum is being held at seven locations from 25 April to 18 May 2006. MHS users and in fact anyone who is interested will be able to learn all about the latest developments and improvements to the MHS furniture trade system. The forum will be stopping off in Andernach, Münster, Hamburg, Leonberg, Leipzig, Munich and Switzerland. The daytime events are designed for IT specialists in firms who would like to see the state of the art for themselves and the huge range of IT solutions engineered by SHD for the furniture trade. The Dutch users of SHD solutions will also be getting together again at the end of May for the traditional 'User Group Meeting' in Andernach. The SHD group is thus following up on its announcement in November that it will press ahead with its own events and will mainly focus its operations at a regional level in 2006 so as to be closer to customers and prospects. There is no charge for attending any of the events mentioned.
