The new KPS design studio program version 6 offers new possibilities for lighting and effects.

Enhanced lighting
Effect lighting can be added to the design via ViewEnhanced Lighting. In addition to ceiling-mounted lighting, you also have the option of automatically adding additional lighting elements. Please note that these elements are only for design effects and not for sale.

To ensure that the design is not illuminated too brightly, the system queries whether any existing lighting elements should be deleted. Different lighting elements can be tried out in the design with just a few clicks.

Effects
A new tab Effects will be displayed in the Colour settings → Presentation/ Presentation plus.

Use Pick White Point and Pick Black Point to manually align all of the other colour values at two points in the view. The brightest and darkest spots in the image are determined, the brightness is set exactly between these two values, and the contrast is set so that the selected black point corresponds to pure black (= 0) and the selected white point to pure white (= 255). This allows you to set the tonal range individually.

Pick White Point (brighten design)
If the function is activated, a design point that is assigned to the white point must be selected with the mouse. When the white point is set, the selected point is set as the reference point in the design. All other colours are aligned to this colour value and recalculated.

Pick Black Point (darken design):
If the function is activated, a design point that is assigned to the black point must be selected using the mouse. When the black point is set, the selected point is set as the reference point in the design. All other colours are aligned to this colour value and recalculated.

The image shows the effect of the black point when clicking on the vase:

The Post processing group allows you to adjust the brightness, contrast, shadow or highlights, colour temperature and colour saturation.

Here you see an example design with lower brightness and more contrast for a stronger impression of depth.

You can also artistically modify the design using Colour Temperature and Colour Saturation. It is also then possible to show the design as a black-and-white photo.

The effects can be set saved for each view separately.

These new functions allow you to enhance the design and present "your kitchen" to the customer in the best possible light.
